SOPHIE GIRAUD STILLS

 

Sophie Giraud was born in France and spent part of her childhood in Turkey, was educated in Switzerland, then settled in Canada in 1984. After an honors bachelor’s degree in Arts & Sciences from Trinity College, University of Toronto, she took extensive photography courses at Toronto’s Ryerson University.

 

She has been a Toronto-based stills photographer on film and TV productions since 1995. Some of her work may be viewed on this website, and she is fully documented, under her name, on IMDB. In addition to the countries she has lived in, Sophie has travelled extensively and photographed a multitude of people and sceneries  on five continents. She speaks fluent English, French, Spanish and Turkish, and holds both Canadian and EU passports.

 

She is a member of IATSE 667 Guild. Sophie’s approach to her work can be summed up in two words: creativity, and dedication.
